how to submit hubpages subdomain sitemap to googl

   hello
   
   I have opened a new account in hubpages
   I want to submit the sitemap to google webmaster central.for normal sites,I know it needs to upload a file or an a meta tag for verification.but in hubpages,i do not have these.
   
   how can i do it?

      if i cannot do it,google may not get my hub and which ultimately influence my hubpage visitor.

         I saw one of my hubs in Google so the search engine will pick it up eventually, just make sure they are optimized good. Hope this helps!

   U cannot add a site map but you can request for Google to index your content by going to the Webmaster's Diagnostics then select Fetch as Googleboot. Enter your article's url. You can submit maximum of 500 urls.

            Welcome to Hubpages!
            You don't have to do a thing... Google bot crawls your hubs in a few hours to a day! Just write your hubs.

      That is not correct. You can add a sitemap for hubpages to Webmaster tools. I have done it.

   I'm confused.
   How would you get Google Webmaster Tools to fetch a Hub Page?
   You can't list Hub Pages at the Google Webmaster site can you?
   We can't alter the HTML of the pages.
   Is there a separate tool I dont know about?

      In some matters, we are our own webmaster, at least according to google.  You can set up webmaster to work with your subdomain.
      
      A part of that is to click on "diagnostics" and then "fetch as googlebot" and then input a URL.  Once it is found, you can request that it be indexed.  I find the process to be much faster than waiting for google to find it without help.

         Okay...somebody needs to do a Hub on how to set up Google Webmaster to work with your subdomain because I have no idea how to do that...LOL

            Submitting hubpages url to Google is one way to optimize content on Google search engine, the problem is we can't add our hub's sitemap to Google webmaster tool. One way to submit our hub's content to Google faster for index is to use the Fetch as Googlebot. In this way, we are able to manually send an advance request for Google to fetch and index our articles without waiting for Google to crawl content. It's similar to pinging.
            
            For us to use Fetch as Googlebot, we'll need to have an added and verified Hubpages sub-domain in Webmaster Tools. To do this, sign-in to you your Google webmaster account or sign-up for a Google webmaster tool account and then click on the "Add a Site" button located at the right-top of Google webmaster tool's homepage. You then now enter your hub's domain which would be www.yourusername.hubpages.com. After your hub is verified, it's time to submit your articles on Fetch as Googlebot following these simple steps below:
            
            1. On the Webmaster Tools Home page, click on your hub site.
            2. On the Dashboard, under Diagnostics, select Fetch as Googlebot.
            3. In the text box, type the url address of the page you want to submit (example: www.xxxxx.hubpages.com/hub/copy-and-paste-to-text-box).
            4. In the dropdown list, select the type of fetch you want, preferably select Web as a default.
            5. Click Fetch button.
            6. Wait for the page to refresh and on the list below, click on the 'Submit URL only to index.'
            7. You will receive a confirmation which says 'URL submitted to index.'

   "After your hub is verified..."
   
   Tried adding it two different ways
   http://sabrebiade.hubpages.com/ and www.sabrebiade.hubpages.com
   But all I get when I click "Confirm successful upload by visiting" is "404. That page doesn't exist."
   I cannot upload files to HP so I'm still kinda stuck here.
   I cant add a Meta Tag, Google Analytics is basically gibberish to me and I can't add a DNS record to the domain's configuration.
   
   PS: Added Analytics (I HATE that!) and still getting a 404 not found.

      I think you must link first your Google analytics to your HP. To do this,
      1. Go to Google analytics home page and copy your HP analytics ID which look like this UA-27620890-7.
      
      2. Go to HP, then Open your HP account settings. Under report settings paste your analytics ID and click configure.
      
      3. Now, Retry to verify your HP on Google webmaster tools using  Analytics.

            I figured this out @ Blogger, it's the same technicalities with linking sub-domains to Google.
