I am challenging myself to read and comment on 26 hubs today leaving a name for whom my time and thoughts are on while I read the hub. I rarely get out of the house lately so this is my way of showing kindness in their honor. Feel free to take on the challenge with me.
Absolutely wonderful idea, Honey! How sweet, thoughtful and loving of you!......We need more and more people in this world, with a heart like yours!! Peace & Joy!!
YOU are indeed a HONEY...I will do my best to meet your challenge today!
Thank you, sweetheart. Love, Maria
I just finished reading number 14 and have learned a lot, shed a few tears, and had a few laughs too. Good Luck Maria on the challenge! It feels good to be doing something in mind and heart honoring those children and adults who lost their lives. I can tell you are a real sweetheart too! Love, Honey
Honey, I only read two but now see how you are commenting by remembering each child. is it too much to ask for a list or could you point me to a site where you got these angels' names...Thank you, Maria

I really love the premise of this challenge. How fabulous, HoneyBB! Have fun, props on supporting your fellow Hubbers, and I hope you learn lots of fascinating new things about Hubbing and the world at large (I always do when I do things like this ).
I have completed my challenge and read 26 hubs today in honor of the victims of Sandy Hook. My deepest sympathy and sincere heartfelt concern and love go out to the members of their families and friends. There could never be a good time for something like this to happen but I don't think there could have been a much worse time either. I will be keeping them all in my thoughts and prayers throughout the holidays and then some. I know the days ahead will be unimaginable and I wish I could send them some comfort.
I join you Honey, as I have completed my challenge thanks to your beautiful suggestion.
Just writing the names of all the victims had a sobering effect...26 beautiful lives. May their family and friends left behind find some solace in the beautiful memories and their lasting legacies.
Well done Maria, It did really have a sobering effect. Thanks for joining me in my challenge. It was sad to go back to get another name and then another and another. It really brings it home. My thoughts will be with those parents throughout Christmas. It's so heartbreaking. I keep picturing the presents that will be left under their trees. I can't help myself. It makes me cry. Anyhow, I'm glad I did this to feel a little connection to them.
Oh, this is sweet. I still can't look at that list without tears.. I like your idea of remembering each one in a special way. Maybe tonight after shopping is complete, I will do the same. I think choosing the hubs will be the hardest part.
I am thinking of starting a family tradition to remember these children each year at this time. Perhaps donating gifts or time to spend with children who don't have resources for presents/food.
Rebekah, the tradition ideas you have sound like a very wonderful way to keep their spirits alive and to honor them each year. That's so sweet of you!
My latest hub is dedicated to the Connecticut angels.. To their loved ones... And other people who lost their loved ones this year..

I want to buy a Green Peridot ring off of ebay. I thought it looked very aesthetic looking and I can get it for a fantastic price. Then someone in my family told me it was a female ring and it would be stupid for me to a wear a female ring. Well, quite frankly, I do not like the look of the men's...

In a relationship who should love more, the male or the female? In an african setting, i've heard something like a girl should marry the man who loves her (this could be mutual) and not the one she loves. It helps for a long lasting stable relationship? Now this was during the polygamous era but do...

Love ... well love is confusing yet not to be confused with obsession ,how is it two completely different people or in this case genders can come to such an agreement... With my personal experiences i dont think all men even have the slightest idea in what love is... or even how to show love for...

Is it ok to have a male friend or a female friend while you're married?Do you think it would cause a problem in the marriage?

I have often wondered, I mean we can pretty much be anyone, that we wish to aspire to on Hubpages. Sometimes, you just get a feeling that although, there is a machoo or feminine avator and character, you are in essence dealing with an exact opposite.I thought that this would be a fun one. I f you...
