Why would this appear when I search for a forum post that I answered?

   Why would this appear when I search for a forum post that I answered? "We're sorry, that question has been removed and is no longer available on HubPages." Under what circumstances would this be removed and who has the authority to remove it?

   Site administrators can remove a post for breaking the terms of service... (or, I suppose for any reason they deem necessary.)  The originator of the post  may also have a reason to ask that it be removed.

      Thank you! I'm a bit concerned that, since my answer was a creative, poetic, response, (in my humble opinion) the person might use my answer and claim it as his or her own. Also, a follow-up question would be if it is removed is it still searchable by Google. I might want to use the repsonse myself it has been removed. Thanks for any help in advance!

   If it is was in the Q&A section, as opposed to the forums, it could have been removed by the hubber who asked the question, right?
   
   If I understand correctly (I can't keep up with the constant changes around here, sorry), because the questions we ask are now placed on our subdomains, we can choose to delete them. Also, IIRC, unless your questions are getting lots of views, it is a good idea to remove them because the could be dragging your subdomain down. So that is probably why the question got deleted, unless for some reason it was
   considered inappropriate for the site and removed by a moderator.
   
   Like I said, I cannot keep all the rules and changes around here straight anymore. Someone please chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

      Nope- you're quite right SmartAndFun! While it might have been removed by our moderation team for not meeting our publishing standards, it may also have been removed by the asker (if it was a Question).

         Yes it was a question "What would your life be like without color?". I posted the answer on it 12 hours ago--it was only asked a short time before that. I just thought it was unusual that it would be removed after only one answer--I received no updates about any other answers posted. I can't remember who asked it. As I said, I'm suspicious that the author may claim it as its own. There was nothing untoward in my answer, unless someone posted and that post was deemed inappropriate and I received no notification of an additional answer.
         
         Also, if it is removed, a follow-up question would be if it is removed is it still searchable by Google?
         
         If it has been removed, I would like to know so I can use it for my purposes.
         
         One more question, do I remove a question by closing it or or do I delete it?

      Yes--it was the one. How did you happen to acces it?  The person posted a Hub on the topic, but did not use my words from the answer in it, just train of thought. Which I guess is the purpose of questions? As I said, I thought it was odd that since I was the onIy one that posted and it was gone in a short time after, I got suspicious. I saved it and posted my answer as a poem on a Blog of my own since it is no longer on Hubpages. Thanks so much!

         The question was indexed and cached by Google and Bing . If you put that question(exactly as it was asked) in Google or Bing you will find the link . I think it is 3'rd or fourth result in both  search engine's .
