Have you ever experience any near death experience/s what was it like?

   I have heard and read of few near death experience some scary some glorious I would like to hear from anyone of you here who would like to share your story briefly. Did it change your life?

      I have heard of a few near death experiences myself and read many books on this. Most books were real life situations and there are some good ones out there. I wish I could think of the name, but this one book was about a little boy who died and then told his parents about the experience.
      
      However on the other side, I am not sure I believe this, I am not even sure that they are really seeing the light or if its an experience that one dreams as they are put under. Yes I have heard that doctors say they died for 3 minutes or so, but do they really. Does God take them then send them back, see I am not sure I get this whole concept.
      
      So to hear other comments would be great. Great question though

         Hi Laurie I know of the book u speak of as I have it in my possession "Heaven is for real" by Tudd Burpo . I do believe in life after death and also the near death experiences the only thing is I have never had one. If I do will only want to have with heaven thanks for taking the time to part take in the forum question.

   I am not a good skier and my husband is very good. I had never even been snow skiing. He kept taking me on trails I probably shouldn't have been on. At one point I fell and began to slide downhill towards a cliff. I knew at that moment it was over. There was nothing I could do but wait to go over. I had a vision of angels all around and I felt peace, then right at the edge of the cliff, I stopped... just stopped. I don't know if that counts as a NDE, but Ive had several instances like that in my life.

      This would fall under the category of finding peace at that moment when confronted with the likelihood of certain death.  Which in itself can appear to be a metrical when they happen to us.  I've had a number of them.    I was once on a little 450 cc Honda running full throttle at 90 mph when I came around a curve and saw a van with its right turn blinker on, I was in the process of passing to the left when it turned to the left. I laid the bike down sliding on the left side of the bike. The tubular crash bar keeping the weight of the bike off of my leg which was under it. I knew I was going to slide under the van at about 80 mph to certain death. I made peace with my maker during what seemed to me to be a few minutes at least though it couldn't have been.  I remember seeing about 4 ft. between the front bumper of the van and a brick pillar a drive gate hung on.  Don't ask me how, but the bike came back up on two wheels  and I passed through that 4 ft opening.  I wanted to go back and give the driver of the van my two cents worth, but my knees were embedded into the gas tank of the bike (so it seemed) and I felt like my britches needed cleaned out  (just kidding)    Any way ?   i kept my momentum, headed straight to the house, never looked back , with a big smile on my face happy to be alive. 
           I can't prove it !   but I know a miracle happened that day.    I guess MAYBE some private moments gotta stay private?
