HP was offline for about three minutes yesterday, and for about ten minutes today between 4:37 am – 4:47 am, California time, when income stats for the previous day are usually posted (but weren't today). Just thought someone should know about it.
Thanks for taking time to make a report.
I'm not sure if there was a site outage as I use a third party service to notify me when the site does have downtime and I didn't receive a notice yesterday or today.
You could check the server logs. I looked at my account, the forum and the homepage – these were all offline.
They were replacing the tired hamsters with fresh ones.
There are presently 76,955 Hubbers who have published hubs. We had twice that many a year ago.

I can't decide if that is scary or a good thing.
It's good and bad. Good for writers who are branching out on their own after getting experience here at HP; bad that they took down aged hubs thinking traffic wouldn't return after Google slaps. The most experienced hubbers told me when I was new to learn patience. I was skeptical about that, but HubPages is evolving, not devolving, so it seems they were right.
Perhaps bad in taking down a handful of aged hubs that might get traffic.
But most excellent in taking down tens of thousands pieces of spam or other garbage written by somebody wanting a backlink or just to vent a little and then disappearing forever.

I am very surprised to see that my page views have dropped so drastically today. I see no reason for it and am wondering if something has happened site wise or if this is just my own problem. Any thoughts?

Okay, today I have noticed drastic decrease in page impressions and record low earnings in my adsense account. I had not thought before today that google algorithm change will have such a effect on our traffic and earnings. Today, I find myself what I was three years back. Only a few cents per...

My traffic is in freefall.Every webmaster in the land seems to be affected today, pinning it on an algorithm change.I am losing 1000 views on my 24 hour total by the hour. It looks like Hubpages was not immune to the Google announcement afterall.I take it Hubpages will now remove every single...

I was shocked this morning that despite posting a new hub last night my hub profile score had dropped from 96 down to 88. I posted in Hubber's Hangout and it turns out that I am not alone because other hubbers have their scores going down and some are reporting by a figure of at least 8 same as...

It isn't just mine, but I'm hearing others suddenly have a list with white circles on many hubs. Many were recently approved by QAP. Some have hub scores in the 90s or upper 80s. What is the reason for this and what are we expected to do about it? How do we get these hubs featured again?Merry...

I have about the same amount of traffic as I usually get at HubPages, but I've barely earned anything. Got 2 clicks worth 12 cents between the both of them and that's about it. Is there something else going on behind the scenes? Have any of you also been impacted in this manner? Thanks in advance!...
