As I guess everyone is discovering, AdSense just did an upgrade, format change, whatever.

Two puzzling items immediately became apparent.

    1. I'm getting twice the earnings from Canada than I'm getting from the US.

    2. 100% of my earnings are from desktop. Nary a mobile critter in sight.

Based on the premise that AdSense isn't messing up here, I am confused.

Nothing from Canada for me lol... but also most earnings from desktop - a miniscule percentage from tablets and nothing from mobiles.....

So is the future of HP really on mobile devices if we want to continue earning??

      Canada/US is 1/23 for me.

Do mobiles get the only adsense ad or just hpads?  Although I do see that I've had a few "high end mobiles" and tablets if I go back some.

Have you ever looked at the mobile view of HubPages?  There are almost no ads.  Also, the majority of mobile browsers can be set to block ads so that you aren't losing any screen real estate to them.

I happen to use an alternative mobile browser on my iPad (meaning not Safari) that spoofs a desktop and blocks ads.

7 percent of Adsense from the UK. 93 per cent from former colonies. Though the Australians and Canadians are hardly pulling their weight at 2 per cent each. And India has vanished.

Thanks for the replies, everyone. Looks like that pretty much explains mobile. As for my Canadian adventure, I'll see what today's stats bring; I'm beginning to suspect that it was just a one-day love affair.

All it would take is a link from a website really popular in Canada to cause a surge.
