Hey, my Ma's always sending me loads of soya bean powder. She says its good for me. I know it is, and I'm starting to really grow into the stuff. I look forward to it. Any takes on the stuff?

Soya is supposed to be a wonder food but of late it's been getting a bad rap because of the estrogen problem.

Vegetarians live on soya.  As well as the lactose intolerant.

soya is very good for health, u can eat it by boiling and cooking with spices..
After boiling and staining water the nutrition remains in that..
The people who likes to work out, to improve body, they should eat soya as vegitables...

Soya is very good and can help to lower collestrol - i love  food based on soya  bean like tofu ,( miso ) . tofu is look like  cheese and tasteless but you have to be creative add some  herb or any dressing to make them tasty .

Naah. I don't think I've eaten it but by reading through the thread, it seems healthy. (I have a lot of Soya Sauce though, as I'm addicted to Chinese Food).

I am a pescatarian (I only eat fish) and I eat soy products from time to time. I try not to eat too much of it. Too much of anything isn't good for you. While it can decrease cholesterol and risk of cardiovascular disease, I'm already pretty healthy in that department. Soy also has a negative effect on the libido. Not something I've experienced... but maybe it would have more of an effect on someone else.
