Hello all,
I received an email to say that someone left fan mail on my hub so I came to check it out. I wrote one hub a few months ago and never came back here until today's checking of my email. After going through my account I noticed that I have earned $xx worth of points or perhaps money??
I have 2 questions:
1. Is this actual real money?
2. If it is, how do I get it or what can I spend it on?
Thanks.
ok, i just figured out its all real.
next step is how do i spend it...
Hi coffee roaster. Yes, it is REAL money that you have earned. Payout from HubPages is $50.00, which means you will receive money the month after (28th of each month is payday) you have reached the $50.00. It is an automatic pay set up within HubPages, whoever reached 50+ dollars the previous month is paid on the 28th of the following month. However, you must have a PayPal account associated with the email you gave to HubPages. This will be your money to spend as you choose.
Edit: I forgot to say that HubPages will send the money to your PayPal account. You can then transfer it to your own personal bank account and spend it on whatever you like. Or you can leave the money in your personal PayPal account and spend it from there.
Now I'm confused. Is the only way to earn money through an adsense account? I thought so and when I applied for an account I was denied. I got the impression I needed more hub pages before I could apply. Can anyone clarify this?
No. You can earn from: Google AdSense, the HubPages Ad Program, the HubPages eBay Program, and the HubPages Amazon Program.

Phyllis, When I try to sign up for any of the other Ad programs, it shows I have to have an adsense account associated it with it. I've gone ahead and re-submitted my application. We'll see what happens
Hankscita, I believe you have to have at least 20 hubs before AdSense will accept your application. They want to see an established account with substantial content. It won't take you long to get this off the ground, you have some fine hubs and I am sure you will be quite active at HubPages. Welcome and best wishes to you.
If you have an AdSense account before you join this site, you can start using it right away.
If you are new to creating web content in general, you need an established web presence before AdSense will accept you.
I'm interested to earn money here in Hubpages, too bad I don't have much time to create viral hubs. Goodluck to you!

I had earning a long time ago but, somehow, they disappeared. I am a computer dummie so I gave up trying to figure out how to get it back. The first two times were very difficult and twice is quite enough -- so I have no account and I no longer make a dime (I did get two payments over the years,...

I'm getting tired of seeing that I've earned a little money (okay, very little money) every month, being told that I do have an Adsense account AND my Hubpages posts are linked to Paypal, yet I don't get any deposits.I thought for sure I'd find an answer to this issue in the forums, but I haven't...

When does HubPages pay a person? How exactly does it work?I have 50 plus dollars, I'm just wondering how all this works or how they pay you - I'm new to the whole process and am excited to actually have earned something from my writing.

I saw a solicitor today to write a new Will, which focussed my mind on what will happen to ongoing earnings after my death. Can my Executors have my hubpages account transferred to my beneficiaries? If so, what is the procedure.

I have an idea for Hubpages to look into and implement if does not involve complications. More and more adsense publisher accounts are being disabled and top hubbers are being targetted. HP may come out of it unaffected if it considers to place its own publisher ID for 100% impressions for...
