    1. Seems like all the heavyweights have retired. . .

    2. The pro-atheists seem to have become discouraged by the constant talk about 'spirituality' and all that boring stuff.

    3. People are entertaining only intelligent threads these days.

    4. You can not bait anyone like before sad

    5. "God" has been logically explained away (even to atheists).

    6. People have started to engage with spirituality creatively.

    7. Atheists have failed to keep their team spirit during critical occassions.

    8. Atheists have failed to form meaningful alliance within themselves.

    9. People have realized that atheism is ultimately nonsense.

There are way too many of these threads imo. They have no purpose. I feel like you just need attention and that's why you're having no fun. If you want ppl to respond, start a thread that means something to someone... not "baiting" threads, not "nonsense" threads. Threads that actually serve a purpose. Threads that are a means to an end. These kinds are like a stutter. Use one thread to make a point, not 10 threads to get a response.

10 threads makes a nice friendship bracelet.

Glad to see you being able to make some kind of 'point' here.

That was the intention, I s'pose... making a "point."

(I didn't know if I was supposed to post a pic of a dead starlet or not, so I did, just in case.)

All the regular participants already know each others views quite well, so the threads are tedious.  I am quite certain I could start and populate a thread, writing the dialogue for all expected participants and an outside observer would be unable to discern it from a thread where they all genuinely participated.

That's why these religion and philosophy threads cause so many fights.  Better that we just put our leprechauns on our invisible unicorns and ride away side by side on our purple dragons, tooth fairy and Santa in tow, leaving the flying spaghetti monster to it's own devices.

I didn't realize religion and philosophy were supposed to be "fun".
