FIXED: Security warning on mobile and desktop

   We are currently experiencing isolated issues with Firefox and the site security certificate as well as multiple browsers in Android.
   Our engineering team is aware of the issue and working to address it.
   
   In the meantime, you should be able to workaround the issue using a different browser like Chrome, Opera, or Internet Explorer.
   
   You should be able to disregard the message and continue to the site.

      I have been having trouble trying to log in with Chrome on my phone too.  It keeps telling me that it's not secure and that hackers may be trying to steal my info.

         Thanks for the addtional information.
         Does clearing the browser cache and restarting the device have any effect?
         Does it look like a malware warning or is it related to the security certificate?
         Can you share a screenshot of the errors to team@hubpages.com?
         
         I'm trying to reproduce this so I can get more details to our engineering team, but so far have been unable to do so, so any specific details are appreciated!

            Wow, it's the craziest thing.  I tried sending you the five screenshots via my email and it kept changing email addresses on me! When I would switch back to the correct one, it would either change again or wouldn't let me send.  What  should I do? It appears that someone is hacking me!

      I have confirmed the security error/warnings on Chrome, Firefox, and Opera on an Android 4.4.4 device.
      
      I have shared these details with our engineering team.
      
      In the meantime, you can bypass the issue by clicking the option in Opera to "proceed anyway" or use a desktop device.

      This is still an on-going issue that affects only users who try to login and does not affect readers.
      
      On Android mobile Firefox is reporting an error, but you should be able to still use Chrome.
      
      This is not isolated to mobile or desktop and does not affect all connections.

            I was able to login using Chrome on my Android 4.4 phone.
            You may be able to use Opera on Android until this is fixed.

      UPDATE: Fix deployed!
      
      The certificate has been updated and this issue should now be fixed.
      Fire up your browser of choice, clear the cache, restart the browser and let us know if you are still seeing any issues.

         I will keep an eye out for the email.
         Just to confirm, you are reporting issues isolated to your mobile device and are not having any issues with your Windows 8.1 machine?
         
         What mobile OS (iOS, Android, etc) and mobile OS (iOS7, Android 4.4.4, etc.) version are you using on the mobile device with the security warnings/errors?

            That is correct.  So far it's only my mobile.  I tried connecting with my husband's phone (on one browser) - same thing.  My phone is android 5.0

      After trying to log in with Firefox for a couple of hours, I finally go through with Chrome.

         There were earlier site issues that affected desktop and mobile devices.
         This current issue affects mobile and desktop.

                  You have to renew the SSL certificates and pay the fee once a year.  Some sites use more than one service, so you should check the status with each service.  It could just be that the bill wasn't paid instead of a technical issue.

   I'm glad sallybea directed me to this forum. I posted another forum about this today, didn't see this one. I can't get HP on my Kindle Fire for the reasons stated here. Tried clearing everything, to no avail; it's a security warning. Even when I clicked on the bypass, I still couldn't log in. I will wait patiently for a solution.

   I was having the same problem a day ago with Mozilla Firefox on P.C . I have to go to a cyber-cafe operating with same Mozilla Firefox ,but with a different Internet service provider here in Nigeria,Spectranet to be specific.It is now working perfectly.

   I'm having issues on Chrome and the other browser too. I can tell it to gobanywaybon the other android browser but it is in beta testing and has some glitches.
