    Just wondering who he is being directed by. I know this guy is headstrong and would be tough to make him submit to anybody else's will. Just wondering if he is just going to be a wrist with a pen signing Exec orders for the next four years.

      "We are not bringing back torture in the United States of America," said Arizona Republican John McCain, in a statement on Wednesday 25 January. "The president can sign whatever executive orders he likes. But the law is the law.

      A bit of democracy left in the US, perhaps.

      -The wall {of Shame}
      - Health care reform {No Insurance - sucks to be you}
      -A stronger economy  {waves magic wand with tiny hands}
      -Ending the Syria refugee influx {that never existed in the USA}
      -Water-boarding {torture for torture's sake since it never 'works'}
      -A strong military { bigger deficits, more $ than all other countries combined}
      -Lower taxes {for top 1%}

      Trump non-PC speech is reserved for himself, for all others must be gagged. That's why NSP shut down twitter account display BO/DT crowd size comparison at National Mall. The guy can dish it out but can't take it.

      The White House website no longer has a section on climate change. An EPA page that answered " common questions" about global warming is gone.

      Seems political kabuki works for you.

      Its amazing all the things President Trump has accomplished in such a short time. Just think if he was President of cancer research or blindness.

    A child born to US military members on a military installation anywhere in the world is a naturalized citizen of the US.  I have the paperwork on my husband and my first son (both born in Germany) to prove it.  This law hasn't been confirmed by the Supreme Court because no one has brought suit on the subject.  McCain was born on a US Navy base in Panama and his father was a US Navy officer.

      So McCain was not born in the US, and he does not support waterboarding, but he is okay with droning US citizens. So that is good.

    If Trump is just a wrist with a pen then I assume that can be said of any of his predecessors.

      Its a comical run-off from when Obama said, 'I've Got a Pen and I've Got a Phone'.  Only thing is Obama wasn't using the Constitution and Congress the way he should have.  Very Incompetent.

      Trump is using a pen, the Constitution, laws that already exist, and will be able to Institutionalize his EO's and policies.  Something Obama was not competent enough to do.

    And truthfully ALL THAT TRUMP is doing is returning to the process of law , using the constitution  , existing regulations , existing  international law and  common sense politics  ! Not like he's doing anything drastic or surprising .    Just a  sea change from Mr . Revolutionary Obama.

    I do not disagree with everything, I'm glad that "Trump administration could effectively kill the individual mandate by granting an exception to everyone."

    And
    The TPP was never ratified by Congress, so Trump’s order was mostly symbolic.
    But glad it's DOA

    Mexico is not paying for it. WE ARE!
    congressional Republicans are willing to put a massive amount of U.S. taxpayer money toward the project. House Speaker Paul Ryan said on Wednesday that Congress intends to fund the wall through a supplemental appropriations bill in the spring.

    Ending the “Catch-and-Release” Policy - great - but it’s illegal to keep children in immigration detention indefinitely.
