Hey I have just made a brand new hub and would love some comments or suggestions!

    http://hubpages.com/hub/Runescape-99-Fishing-Guide

Please take the time to do so for me.

You can't use the forums to solicit hubs.

My apologies!  I wasn't paying attention to the category.  Go on about your business!  I have lapses in common sense from time to time. lol

Yea...This entire forum section is to get critique on your hubs. This is only my second hub, so i want as much critique as possible to make any future hub's better.

I think that its a very good hub. I would perhaps seperate the text into a few different text sections - this would enable a nice little adsense bar in the middle of your text. (it looks like you currently have one big textbox? this could be 3 or 4, remember that section headings have SEO/Keyword benefits too)

I would then move the Amazon stuff to the middle or bottom, people will find your article actually wanting to learn how to get 99 skill in fishing; they will not scroll back up to the start, maybe let them read the article before offering them a product?

Perhaps that Amazon box would be a good place to put a nice photo/screenshot?

The quality of the writing and the depth of subject knowledge is very good, but I believe that you could lay the hub out in a way that works a little more to your personal gain - particularly in the long run once you have a portfolio.

Consider interlinking your hubs (especially when you get to 5-10), a link box at the bottom would help keep people on your pages instead of heading back to google to search for their next runescape tip.

There you go, that is as much criteque as I can possibly offer. Just my personal opinion.

Wow thank you very much ryan! Yea I had one large textbox, and as you could have likely seen all of my Adsense ad's are unrelated to the actual subject.
When adding a heading as you said, do you usually use that section on the top of editing a text box to put the header or do you simply write it into the hub?
I'll definitely be using a lot of this information though, thank you very much.

It takes a while for adsense bots to scan your article and place related ads, these will probably appear in time.

Just concentrate on making your presentation spot on and traffic/adsense will look after itself.

My point about the text box is that adsense will place a thin line of ads smack bang in the middle of your text if you allow it (by breaking up the text).... because your hubs are quite long, this will be important in maximising your clicks in the long run.

I recommend that you have a play with the Google Keyword Tool (have a search for it), which will tell you how much specific keywords pay... then use some high paying ones within your sub-titles (and tags as well).

For example 'Runescape Fishing Skill' might pay more than 'Runescape Fishing Level' or something (You can probably tell that I have never played Runescape!). If this is the case then trying to get 'Runescape Fishing Skill' into your article a few times may be beneficial....

It takes time to learn, but you will, there are hundreds of hubs which will help you with SEO and Keywords.... written by some very knowledgeable hubbers (have a search, this is how I have been learning - and still have so much to learn!)

The writing looked fine. I would just recommend touching up the formatting - including blank lines between paragraphs and using the built-in bullet capability. You also might break some of the paragraphs into smaller pieces to make them more internet friendly.

Honestly though, I think it's going to be very challenging to get those google ads to change. The bots are just going to see all kinds of "fishing" and "hunting" related words. I don't know how to beat that...will be interesting to see what others recommend.

I agree with the suggestions to break up the text.

    Nice hubs by the way!

    Welcome to HP!

Hmm well i broke up the text into two boxes which was a start. Even though i did this, there are no adsense ad's in between, but perhaps that will change in time...
It's very hard to get past the fishing/hunting ad's for this one, but i added enough "Runescape" keywords that at least some of the ad's are coming up with related content finally. These two skills are very generic, but once I start more game-related skills that have no outside meaning, i expect to get more related ad's.
Thank you all for the help! This has received much better support than my first one i asked help with.
