How many tags do you recommend?

   I was told by one hubber to use about 15. How many does every else use?

      15 Seems like a good number , but my hubs are kinda lame so It doesnt matter ! As long as the tags are relevant to the hub .

      I use about 15 but then towards the end of the hub i may add a couple of the suggested ones that crop up.

      The more tags you add the more views you may receive, in my opinion. However, I have found there seems to be a limit and after you publish one and if you have too many.. you may receive a message asking you to delete a few.. that has been my experience so far.. good luck.

   I had one very succesful hub that had about 40.  I've been trying to use atleast 30 ever since.

   Depends on the hub-- and on the length of the hub, I think.
   
   If you have a 500 word hub with 25 tags-- I'd think that's a bit much.

   The most sensible approach somebody posted here was: put as many as you can, until it starts telling you you have too much. Then back down a couple, to clear the warning

      I tried to do that. Initially the hubscore went up and then it started going down. It also affected the author score. Now I am thinking to experiment by deleting all tags on a couple of useful hubs and use ONLY some High Paying Tags on those topics and see if helps to increase the income. Your thoughts....

      Why would you want to use the minimal amount of tags? The less tags the less search engine traffic. The minimum you can use is probably 0.

      You have to have at least 3 or 4 In order for your hub to be published , but put on as many as you can to get the most exposure

    There is no magic number, but here is my take on the use of tags on Hubs and how they help you rank in Google et. al.
