How do I know if receiving any money from them for clicks to the news feed?
If not shouldnt we get some
I think you are enriching your hub by using Yahoo News Feed. As question of money, perhaps, there is no provision for payments on clicks to news feed.
We don't get any revenue from the News Feed. The Yahoo news feed is like an RSS feed from a website. It helps to keep your page updated. It's supposed to benefit us by keeping the page updated, which looks good to search engines, from my understanding (which is limited).
It is what I thought when I started using it, it is all for information isnt it.
Where would the money come from to pay us?
It's not like the news companies are paying for their articles like advertisers pay for PPC ads.
Pretty much. The Yahoo News is basically just to give more links to outside sources and to make the page look constantly updated. Just more info about the topic.

Everything that's coming through on News Feed for any account I possess is almost entirely made up of forum posts at the moment. I'm not sure if Hubpages is tracking my IP and showing me the forum posts I've made on this account (regardless of which account I'm in) but it appears for all the world...

I noticed a huge increase in traffic to one article (560 per day instead of the normal zero or one view per day) and it turned out that there was a backlink to it on an article written on Yahoo Life by one of the people who write the news articles on Hubpages network sites. Several other articles...
