What should South Carolina do with Rep. Joe Wilson ("you lie" shouter) and Gov. Mark Sanford (Argentinean Girlfriend)?

      Nothing. What can they do?

      1.  The Mark Sanford sex scandal- quite frankly is none of our business.

Just take a peek into your history books, for example Ben Franklin.  Our society today is more anal about sex, than in any other time in history.

      2.  The shouter- that's up to his constituents.  I believe he apologized for his behavior, and Obama excepted it.  What more as a society can we expect?  His head?  That's insane.  The whole punishment crap, is just that crap.  Let the good Senator be.  He made his bed, and now....?  What?  Nothing.  Any other adventure would just make us all, as US citizens look more vulnerable and divided.

The world is watching us, I don't like it when our country looks weak.  Especially when China is our banker.

Wilson already apologized to the president-that should be over. As for the argentinian lover-vote him out if his morals, ethics and commitment do not represent North Carolinians point of views.

As long as you're asking, I think South Carolina should keep Joe. He was telling truth although his timing was off. They should send the governor out of office, on the way to some counseling. His Mid-Life Crisis went ballistic. I'm not sure he's living on the same planet with the rest of us.

Telling the truth, why by all means enlighten us?  What lie? Be as specific as you can, and I for one would like documentation.  I'll wait while you go hunt and peck for it.

      still waiting....................

He said that illegal aliens would not be covered under universal healthcare.  Yet neither he nor the Democrats in Congress support an amendment to the bill explicitly stating that.  Without said amendment, the courts will amend the law to cover illegals.  That's why illegals are covered under many state programs today.  So the President lied when he said that illegals wouldn't be covered, because he knows what is going to happen after the law is passed and gets to the courts.

This is just another massive attempt to buy off voters to support a particular political agenda.  Look at ACORN.  They're willing to support a prostitute who plans to bring kids over for the sex trade and sell their "services" to pedophiles, just to get another member so they can claim that they have a certain percentage of the population behind them.

And the President expects us to believe that he, personally, is going to get rid of waste, fraud and graft to pay for his universal healthcare vote buying scheme.  Please.  Paying for the cost of healthcare is not going to solve the problem.  If you want to make something more affordable, increase the supply of it.  It really is that simple.  To support anything else is to support those special interest groups which have a vested interest in keeping healthcare expensive, for their own selfish reasons.

Yeah, decent debaters seem to be far and few in-between.  Did you find any faults in my arguments?

I think Mark Sanford is term-limited out, so he is in effect a lame duck and cannot necessarily be "voted out."  I don't think he can be impeached for an affair so the only alternative left for South Carolina voters who want him out of office would be a recall--if SC law allows it.  That said, I think he's also facing criminal charges and/or corruption charges.

I don't condone his having had an affair and given the other charges against him, if he had even one little shred of shame in him, he'd've resigned long ago.  Apparently, he has no shame.  But as a consolation, his political career is probably over and even if he stays in office until his term is over, he has zero political capital.

As to Wilson, he said the same thing I said to my TV.  Difference is, I was at home, he was in Congress speaking on national TV.  While I don't think he should've used that particular venue--and he did apologize for it--I think we should recall that Democrats heaped far more abuse on Bush when he was in office (although no individual Democrat went as far as to yell "You lie" while Bush addressed Congress).

Mark Sanford is past his 'use by date' simply because he's useless.

The only thing he has been consistant and relaible in is taking vacations.

It is his iresponsible use of state funds that is in question.

If you or I did that , we'd be fired. Thats not justice , for all at all!

The fact that he lies about other moral issues , well that seems to be just one of those silly little human issues.

Almost all politicians misuse public funds.  Why do you think they got into the business in the first place?
