    LO All,

I'm new here, and have been watching a user named Philgood put up over 70 spammy hubs since he joined 6 hours ago.
    http://hubpages.com/profile/Philgood

What's the best course of action here?

Are there automatic systems that discover and delete this sort of stuff, or does Hub Pages rely on users to report it?

Although I've only been here a short time, I'm starting to get a bit protective of Hub Pages.
    How sad is that !!

    Thanks,
    Eric G.

We all get that way (protective) - email team@hubpages and let them know. Plus you can flag a few of his hubs. I guarantee he will be gone before the day is out big_smile

Well, He's still there, but his hubs have disappeared. Shame about all that hard work going to waste wasn't it !!

    Which gives me a thought . . .

His hubs were being made at the rate of one every 5-10 minutes.

Assuming that he was doing them manually, it would be a great trick if Hub Pages could leave them there - but only visible to his IP address.

This would mean that he would be spamming away - creating hubs that nobody else could see.
Might keep him busy for ages, and divert him from engaging in other spammy stuff.

On the other hand, he could just be an innocent victim of some guru's $1997 course that told him it was a good idea to make a lot of hubs.

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he's not my brother, and he looks WAY too old to be my dad lol
