    I can live with my tears
    I can live with my sorrow
    I can live with my fears
    And hope well for tomorrow


    I can live with my sin
    And the hurt that remains
    I can live with my grief
    And prepare for the pain


    I can live with happiness
    That has been made of me
    And for the joyous fate
    Right there in front of me

    But as I watch their eyes
    And see their cracked faces
    And the tears that they cry
    Their blood leaves no traces

    I can’t live with their sadness
    I can’t mourn for their sorrow
    I can’t live with their gladness
    Or their hope for tomorrow

    I can’t stand in their shoes
    I can’t feel their shame
    I can’t close up their wounds
    And heal their pain


    But I can give them my heart
    And all that’s within
    I can give them the love
    That God told me to give
