Lately, whenever I post a new Hub, all kinds of 'porn' or soft porn ads are 'added' to my article. The Tattoo ads were bad enough, but this is awful, especaially since I just wrote an ad about kids' toys!
Its very simple . Follow this step.
Just note down the website address which those ads contain. You may find it at bottom of the ad. Dont click it.
Now login to your adsense account and under competitive ad filter paste that website address and save it.
The ads from those websites wont appear in ads based on your ID from now on.
I just looked at your latest hub - All I saw was ads for planet-destroying, environmentally-damaging plastic children's rubbish that they don't really need.
You are safe now.
Pat:
Remember my answer from last time? It takes a while after publication for Google to crawl your page and place relevant ads. Your most recent hub already seems to have targeted ads in place.
See my answer to ProCW when he asked this very same question earlier today: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/5634
Mark - guilty as charged. What can I say? I try to be 'green', but fall off the wagon when it comes to the Grandkids. Mea Culpa (?) =]
I still wish the porn/tattoo ads could be replaced by something else - anything else - whay those first?!
I always see the tattoo ads first, too-- (maybe they can't find any place else to put them), but the disappear quickly, unlike Real tattoos.
I think if you have good content and tags-- other, more relevant things take over very quickly.
hehe couldn't resist. We all need to eat - including porn stars and tattoo artists I guess.
I have no idea why they always come up first, but it reminds me of a joke.
If they took all the porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called:
bringbacktheporn.com
I noticed that domain is for sale, and it has a real silly picture on it to try and tempt people into buying it.
I didn't even think of it. No wonder if somebody gets the domain. The idea's credit will go to Mark
This got me curious, so I had to look.... The silly picture that is! Not sure if it would tempt people though! Well, after staring at it for awhile, it did have some effect on me because it seemed like those girls do have "inviting eyes"....hehehehehehe
I think it would tempt people who are interested in buying that type of service if you know what I mean LOL.
I guess the porn on the Webkinz article bothered me more than normal because I knew kids in my family would be reading it - yikes. I was afraid to answer the phone - irate parents can be dangerous!
I do wonder what would really happen if the took porn off the internet? Maybe the entire system would collapse!

How do I get relevant ads posted on my hubs? How do I get relevant ads on my hubs?! I can't seem to figure it out. I get ads that have nothing to do with what I'm trying to write about. Is there something I'm missing?

I guess things have to start somewhere, but why on earth do they start out displaying stuff about tattoos, when my topics are business related and usually about internet or social marketing?Just thought it was wierd.Anyhow, I am loving HubPages and think the ratings is a great step above Squidoo's...
