In so many ways, for so many reasons

That breaks my heart! I am shocked but there is corruption in every part of the world and money always appears to be the root of it.

Wow. I can't begin to imagine what these people must feel having their children taken away like that. I hope stories like this will make more people in the west aware of what's going on. Maybe then things might improve. I doubt it though, the world we live in today is so full of atrocities. There is no sign that things are getting better.

This sort of thing makes things more difficult for everyone involved.

But the Chinese government sees these children as a renewable resource.  Since government is infallible, how can you dare to criticize the Chinese?  roll

One wonders how the Mao-worshipers in the White House feel about this one.  Perhaps they'll come up with a "National Young Adult Matching Center" or some such to convince the American people that they know so much they can even tell who can be parents and who should not be.

I can't say I'm really surprised. Chinese mothers are the same as Western mothers. Mothers are mothers. It is in our nature to love and want our children.
Frankly I was more disturbed by the reports that Chinese mothers were happy to dump or murder their new born girl babies, given they were living under a one child policy.
Now that the world is starting to know about how their girl children are being so callously taken, what are we, as world society, going to do about it?
