What video console should I get for my sister?

   My sister (she's 9) likes to play video games and even plays cod with me. What would be a nice system for her? Something little girls enjoy and it won't just sit on a shelf.

      Can't go wrong with a Nindendo Wii, with lots of games available. Or you could go for a handheld Nintendo, or PSP.

      for a young girl i think a Wii would be the best bet.
      PS3 is super awesome! but its a bit much for such a young girl, a wii is fun and has a lot of cool games and fun add ons!

      Definitely a PSP as it plays dvd's as well. All in one entertainment system that will last for ages.

   I know loads people who own a Wii, Xbox 360, and PS3 (Yes, all 3) and every single one of those people plays the 360 more than the PS3. None of them bother playing their Wii either, in my opinion you cant go wrong with an XBox....

   We just purchased a Wii today and have spent hours using it! of course, we are adults and since it was out Christmas gift to ourselves I guess we can do that. But it seems to me you cannot go wrong with a Wii. There is a huge variety of things you can do with one of those.

   Definitely a Wii. Great games for adults and kids alike, plus its more casual. PS3 usually are for serious gamers.

   Nintendo Wii for sure, and if you are planning to pick up a game in particular, get the New Super Mario Bros. Coop is loads of fun.

   she might like the Wii.  It is very interactive and has plenty of games for the younger crowd (i.e., Mario, Zelda, etc).  I have an Xbox 360 and a Wii, but the Xbox 360 tends to be geared more towards the older crowd (though there are some games for the kids on the Xbox, such as Lego Batman)
