    Hi All-

I am just wondering what happened.  I have published 13 hub pages now and was loving it.  I was getting lots of traffic today I broke 1,000 unique vistiors according to the hubpages stats and was so excited.  However just a minute ago I logged into my account and all of rankings or ratings of my hub have plummeted.

Many of my hubs specifically the tattoo related ones were running at a hubscore of 97 to 99.  I was on 20 minutes ago and they were there.  I then logged in again after doing some other stuff and now they have dropped to 20 to 26 range or so.  I did not make any changes and traffic still seems to be flooding in like normal.  Why the drop?  Has anyone else experienced this also?  Do they recover over time or did I get some kind of hubpages slap for the way I built the pages or what?  I will check in tomrrow and just assume it is some wierd thing that will get worked out.

Thanks all....Still love hubpages regardless just hope I can get some ratings back.

Also you can view my hubs by clicking on my profile!

    Thanks

    Well-

It has now passed almost 24 hours and my ratings on my hubs still in hale wind briskly (suck).  Many of my hub pages dropped form the 90's to the 20's and I have no idea why.

Counterpunch not sure what you meant by hold on I assume you are looking into something?  Or maybe hold on it gets worse? No idea anyway thanks at least for responding.

Can any of the admin or experienced builders here tell me if it is something about how I am building my hubs?  They are getting traffic still in fact almost 1,200 visitors today so that is great.

Anyway just want to know if there is some little tweak or major tweak that I am missing?  Do number of outgoing links effect page rank?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi Jason Menayan-

I am not sure I got any email about improper tagging?  Are there some rules about tagging your hub pages that I should know about?  I have been using at on of tags on all of my hubs as I thought it was a good thing.  However, if there is some kind of rule about the number of tags please let me know so I can abide by it.  All of my tags are targeted to the major keyword but it might be too many as I am using 15 to 20 tags and maybe it should be ten or so?  Anyone have any ideas on this?  I have really been asking for help from someone and not receiving any emails until "emailkey" wrote and asked about his/her hubs and now I find out about the tags might be the issue please let me know if it is I would be happy to make changes.

    Thanks

      Ichibanda,

Your tagging is fine and relevant. However, your Hubs consistently:

      1) Make use of copied text. Please see this entry from Jay:
      http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/205

      2) Do not address the topic directly (instead making use of copied text) and force the reader to click on a link out, to read somewhere else or to buy something. This makes for an extremely poor reader experience.

Our site rewards original, unique content that directly addresses and answers the topic of the Hub.

      Hi emailkey,

We will review your Hubs and remove the designation if you've corrected the tagging of your Hubs. Another violation will lead to the deletion of your account and all of your Hubs.

    Hi Again-

Thanks for the clarification and post.  I had been submitting articles that I orginally wrote and published on ezinearticles.  They were very popular and had a lot of page views and therefore I thought htey would make good hubpages content.  However if they are gettting a slightly lower score beucase of the duplicate content issue then I will write some more new and orginal posts.

Thanks for the advice and tips.
    Ichibanda
