What would you gentlemen and ladies here think about buying .info domains and then having them redirect to hubs?
Do you think this would be beneficial? Would it aid in marketing purposes for hubs?
Just a fleeting thought I had...
I tried it briefly - I don't think there was any benefit: you might as well just promote the hub. If you are going to buy the domain I would instead add a blog and use it to promote your hubs!
Unless it was a domain that already had backlinks or type in traffic I don't see any advantage at all.
Truthfully, the only benefit I see is having the link show at the bottom left of the screen as a domain name when moused over.
Like I said. Just a fleeting thought. Doubtful I will act on it.
Thanks for the feedback.

First, please forgive me if this has been asked a hundred times already. I've tried searching through the forums, but without a better search feature, it's difficult to find out if someone has already asked about the same problem I'm having. The only thing that came close was "KNOWN ISSUE:...

I'm in a plunge again - going down to levels I've not seen since March 2010. As we now have sub-domains and all our writing has an impact on every one of our hubs I've been analyzing my older hubs. One thing I note is that early on I wrote quite a few hubs about subjects that already had a lot of...
