7.2 Earthquake in Mexico

    A Earthquake hit Mexico...rumored at 6.9 but nope it was a 7.2.

    What a way to liven up Easter here in Cali...it was felt all the way up in LA...building swaying and things a rockin'. But everyone is fine out here.

      There could be a larger one about to happen.
      The S end of the San Andreas fault just "quivered."

      Yep..it was actually also felt in Las Vegas and Phoneix...there was damage...ppl stuck in elevators...gas leaks...bad down in Mexico rught now with damamge..they are still reporting.

    I'm fine...my family is fine...my friends are fine....our pets are fine....not like anyone really cares anymore how others are doing on this stupid site. All anyone ever wants to do is argue on here anymoer!

      Sadly I think that there are more earthquakes happening...wouldn't be surprised if Cali gets hit by a big earthquake soon.

      Didn't hear about the 1 dead...how sad

      And yea I heard a few are trapped in elevators...my worse fear right there.

        Yeah it sucks. But I have been through quite a few of them. I was livin in LA during the Northridge quake. I was convinced it was my last day on earth. Comes with livin in California.

    I was walking to my refridgerator, so I didn't feel the movement. I could see the lights in the dining room swaying back and forth, though.

    The '94 Northridge quake was quite an experience.... A similar type of fault line runs right under Sylmar....it is just a matter of when it decides to move again..

    I love plate tectonics......
