Drastic drop in one day

   I don't get much google traffic, but what I do have has dropped over 200% in one day. I am confused. I edited and adjusted several hubs last month, and saw a significant increase. then today, boom, down to almost nothing again.
   
   Did I just experience that benefit for a short time because of editing and republishing? Google thought my pages were new and gave me a boost?  I would think that... except.... some of my hubs that had consistent (though minimal) traffic dropped to infinitesimal hits overnight.
   
   Any insights would be appreciated. I am refocusing my work and aiming to improve my quality.

      Jule, I would keep doing what you're doing.  And that's working on your Hubs and improving their quality.  I am doing the same.  I'm not one for stats, but I am fully aware that my traffic took a deep dive before the Fourth of July and into the weekend.  I am slowly heading back to where I was in June.  This is summertime--so they say.  Everyone is out and about, so the next best thing is to plan Hubs for the Fall and Winter.  My friends start their Christmas in July by making gifts.  I was thinking of making crafts for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  But only because I'm into making things.  Also, I am always doing Christmas at the last minute, so maybe writing about it will prepare me for the holiday.

   The same thing has happened to me. I went from 250 hits a day to 50 today. Blue arrows all over. I usually reach my slug slope on W/Th but even this is ridic. Knowing there may have been a panda update explains a lot.

      Exactly the same scenario for me - a drastic drop in traffic overnight and poor stats today across the board.  What is happening here?

   Yes, I will keep working. I have a lot of product hubs. That may be a problem. I think the information is useful, but I wonder if the articles are just too "salesy." I was hoping that adjusting my keywords would do the trick... and it seemed to work for a while. I had been hoping to do keyword work, then add more content. I am also getting rid of a lot of lower quality articles and  going for a smaller portfolio of work.  I appreciate the comments, please keep 'em coming!

   @Jule Romans - I took a look at your account and it looks like it was one hub that saw a change in rankings.  I've seen this before in my own account.  When it happens, I update the hub and give it a few days.  Often it pops back when it's a single hub that drives a large percentage of traffic.
   
   Add a bit to it and report back next week to let us know if it bounces back.

      Thank you so much for looking at my work. I think I found the hub you mean, so I will work on that.  I'll post back after I have made the revisions.
      
      I thought it was also some of the other jubs, too. It made me wonder if my subdomain earned a penalty of some kind. One thing I noticed on analytics is that my overall view duration is REALLY short. Could that affect me in terms of the google algorithm?

   Forgive me if this seems pedantic, but I have no idea what "dropped over 200%" means! 
   
   Surely 100% is the maximum that a traffic figure could drop?

   How come we can have a 300% increase in taxes, but we can't have a 300% decrease in taxes? That's not fair!!!

   I made the changes we discussed-- and also a few others. I am pleased to report that today my numbers went UP. 
   
   I noticed that that is seems to be on Thursdays... does that mean anything?
   
   Anyway, thank you very much for taking a look at my work and giving me guidance. I appreciate it. I will continue to improve my hubs.  I would welcome any other suggestions, critiques,  or comments you'd like to provide.
