Advertisements are everywhere- on our phones, in our web browsers, along the roads, on television… heck, ads are even laced into the supposedly genuine tweets of some of our favorite celebrities!
What's more, thanks to great tools like Google AdWords, it is easier for folks like you and me to create advertisements of our own.
There is SO MUCH to write about here, so for this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration challenge, I encourage you to share your analysis of modern advertising, or to provide tips on creating savvy, smart, and sensible ads of one's own.

If you'd like to join in on this week's topic by writing a Hub, follow these steps:
1) Stop by this week's Weekly Topic Inspiration Question.
2) Click the green button "answer this question".
3) Click the gray button below the box (leave that empty) that says "make a Hub about it."
4) Give your Hub a very specific title, like Easy Summer Gardening Projects for Kids or Challenging Summer Activities for Teens
5) Create good quality original content that hasn't been covered before.
6) After you publish your Weekly Topic Inspiration Hub, come back to this forum thread and post a link to your Hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.
For more information on the Weekly Topic Inspiration program, check out the Learning Center guide.
Oh, and do you want your WTI Hub to have a shot at becoming a Hub of the Day? Make sure the images are legally used and properly attributed!
What an outstanding topic idea! By the time we are all done contributing here, we could have the best resource on the net! My project for the week is to learn all-things-advertising. Hopefully I will come up with a worthy hub in the process.
Dang, paradigmsearch. You totally pwned this week's theme. You rule.

Here's mine. I hope it gives writer's ideas on how they might go about getting more people to check out their articles.
http://stayawakenow.hubpages.com/hub/Ad … g-an-event
This is my freshly written hub about advertising an event.
I hope you people like it.
Well, 1198 words written so far for me. Taking a break from it today.
Drum roll...
Here is my masterpiece...
"The Top Ten Number One Rules for Advertising on the Internet "
http://paradigmsearch.hubpages.com/hub/ … e-Internet
Btw, I am looking to add some links to other hubs. The usual two criterias apply.
1. The hub must directly relate to one of the categories aka "Rules".
2. The hub must be awesome.
And another btw...
I just finished re-reading the latest blog entry.
http://blog.hubpages.com/2013/01/weekly … icipation/
I thought I'd submit the following "Q&A".
Q: How could one increase Weekly-Topic-Inspiration participation?
A: $28 first place. $21 second place. $14 third place $7 fourth place.
Just saying...
Come to think of it, I remember a Simone post awhile back along the lines of, "...the same people would win every week, that is why we also include random draws...", or something to that effect. So...
The above prize pool is $70. I'd be perfectly happy with a second alternative of ten random $7 winners a week. Just a thought.
I support your idea of ten random winners, this will make more people participate because they'll have a bigger chance of winning anything.
How to Write Effective Advertising Copy....
because I'm a writer and I'm advertising.
Contains tips on psychology, writing and layout, plus a poll.
I hope this is the right place to post. I only see four other entries here.
Why are there not more articles here? Bunch of slackers...
I'm not an advertising pro...besides, I like being a slacker sometimes!
Actually, I'm thinking of starting a slackers club...
Great idea, but it would never work-all the slacker members would be lax in attending, ha ha. I was once contemplating writing a book, "the slackers guide to life" and on research discovered that a couple of other slackers revved up their motivation and beat me to it!
I worked up the energy. Slackers club has been started.
Unbelievable. Torpid cat is still there.
Big thanks to everyone who participated in this theme (especially paradigmsearch- DAAAAANG SON!).
Our new theme is super super fun: CANCER!!!
I hope you'll join in. I'm sure we can all agree that cancer is a pretty important issue to discuss.
