   *  European Codex to ban vitamin sales in America. In the near future, buying vitamin C directly from your local co-op or health food store could be illegal. Instead, you would be required by law to go to a doctor to get a prescription for these and other related supplements. This could occur thanks to an international food regulation known as Codex Alimentarius (CA), which recently passed in Europe and could be implemented in the U.S. by January 2010. CA enforcement is expected by the World Health Organization, the U.N. and, of course, the FDA.
   
       * FDA to regulate non-medical health remedies. Currently, as recently announced, the federal Food and Drug Administration is again proposing to regulate a wide variety of alternative medicine products, from vitamin, mineral and herbal supplements to lotions and stones used by massage therapists.
   
       * FDA runs "protection racket" for Big Pharma. Since the Bush administration took office the FDA has become the industry's "partner in crime," according to Internet reports. The most notorious protection scheme put in place by the FDA and Big Pharma is the preemption policy that bans private lawsuits against drug companies in state courts once a drug and its label have been approved by the FDA. This is an important protection, as Big Pharma is increasingly subject to consumer backlash on a variety of drug fronts, as well as for vaccines containing thimerosal-based mercury linked to autism and Alzheimer's.

   I really wonder what any of us can do?  Have you thought about this?  Very interesting you are strong enough to come forward with this information. May God give us strength to the truth! 
   
   I have read this information before and people do close their eyes and pretend it is not really happening.  Thank goodness for people like yourself that are willing to come forward. 
   
   If it were not for vitamins that I can so freely take, I would be sick all of the time.  I used to get colds and viruses all of the time and now I am able to build my immune system with vitamins and herbs to stay healthy.
   
   Interesting ...people will take things that are prescribed with all kinds of side effects and are afraid of vitamins.  They really need to get their priorities straight.

   This has been evolving for many years; decades in fact. This was one of many reasons I left Europe. Democracy was, and is, dead. My own country, Britain, spent over 300 years building up a strong 3 party democracy, and threw it all away in the 1990's as weak and unintelligent politicians failed to stand up for democratic rights. Europe is now run by a bureaucracy that is easily corrupted, and one of the first "directives" was to ban vitamins in useful levels, and other "health" foods. Why? Because those who control Europe do not want healthy people; they want the super profits from the drug companies they have massive investments in. The same applies in getting control of the world food supply, and water supplies. It is all about establishing a global private tax that brings in billions in "tax" that goes not to governments but to the owners of these corporations and to those they pay off.
   
   The FDA has been liaising with Germany for years to implement this CODEX provision. What can you do? One of the best places to keep up with the news is to visit naturalnews.com. The other is to save American democracy; it is almost too late. Nearly half the population are on medication already, and those truly interested in health freedom are being suppressed where possible. As an outsider, it seems to me that Ron Paul has it right and can see what is going on. If you visit his web site and look at what he says under health you will see what I mean. Keeping to the American constitution alone would be enough to save you from this dangerous trend.

   Yes, I have read other sites like you mentioned.  I will take a look at what I can find.  Dr. Rath is a trooper on the subject of vitamin freedoms. It is all so scary. 
   
   Again it is refreshing to see people that will stand up for the cause.  We are slowly loosing our freedoms.  If only people would open their eyes and see.  The truth is out there.  People are screeming it all over the place now.
   
   Just today, I had a sore throat and I have been drinking my aloe and it is gone.  Simple ..one could say ...what say you?  Can't people see there are simple answers to difficult situations sometimes.

   This is just totally unbelievable.  Not to the author am I speaking.  I thank him for this information.  This just goes to show me again that "Big Pharma" and the gvt. is not concerned with our health.  You are a "sparkling jewel" for giving us this information now....I personally do not require any links, it is enough that you warned us.  It is too bad that some people "have to have proof" as they are unable to see with their own eyes what is happening to our United States and I really think our forefathers are turning over in their graves a million times.

   Americans rarely go on strike about anything, I have noticed that in other countries people get together and revolt when they don't agree with their government or certain institutions, but here - no, it is a rare event to see a strike in the news. 
   Is there anything we can all do?
   I do hope that they never ban vitamin sales and supplements, as this will be the end for many people whose health depends on it.
