Can you give us some more information? Are you uploading from your computer or the web? What type of file is it (jpg? gif? png?) and what size?
I usually use jpg. Tried gif, they would not take it. I load it from my PC. I want to be original but it can be challeging.I load less than a 1000 in size. There is a lot of programs which you can reduce the size easily.

I load from pc. Actually I never thought about a problem so I have never faced any problem.
