Working is quite hard sometimes. probably, we can;t find ways how to star it and if it happens to be started, there some interfering factors that leads us to quiting or postponing the tasks. What are the things that probably the cause of delay in accomplishing your task?
a phone call
I have to agree. Phone calls are always a way to get sidetracked.

Perhaps, peer pressure to hangout for the younger generation can cause a delay in your work.
However, it's different for the working professional. Some of the instances are as follows:
1. You can delay a certain task if your boss tells you to do something that is more urgent.
2. When an employee goes into your room and asks for help.
3. Phone call
4. Emergency meetings in the office
Family and I cannot concentrate when music that I know is playing. I just start singing along and can't focus and sometimes I just don't feel like it. ![]()
Child, boyfriend, phone and loss of internet conection!
my habit of procrastination haha
one of my cats likes to sit on my desk while I work. Sometimes she likes to walk across my keyboard...that's a disturbance because I have to put her on the floor. She is now sitting next to me, upright and sleeping.
i agree with sandra, i am a song lover too. i just can't get out of bed if i hear my favorite songs. i love classical and ballad and something from michael bolton, aerosmith(huskies). weird but i could not sleep early too because of songs
Having to run necessary errands for my wife--to get "stuff" from Sierra Vista, 40-50 round trip miles every time, plus however many stops at however many stores. One trip approximately equals one blown workday.
the seducive pics of hubpages ... i always get into the world of hallucination whenever i get to see someone hot
I do a lot of troubleshooting work and integration work with VoIP. I get interrupted by somebody with a problem requiring help AT LEAST once an hour. While in one aspect it derails my thought process and makes it hard to complete a task, it is also a good thing. Training people under me to do my job will in turn just make my job easier, and allow me to expand further upwards and outwards with my knowledge.
telemarketers...if only they did not exist I would not be disturbed and get a heck of alot more housework and crating done, instead of having to answer the phone for something stupid.
My co-workers, I work in an office space of cubicles and my co-workers, mainly my boss just starts conversations across the room with whoever will listen....it's so annoying. I am known in the office for turning my back on people when they come up to me and I'm obviously engaged in a task, I turn around give you my attention for three minutes, and then I just turn around and give you my back. The not-so subtle cue= I'm done talking and now back to work.
When people take my stapler.
My husband when he talks about some project he is working on like building a new cabinet or fixing the chimney. He knows I don't get it but he wants my opinion just the same. I got no opinion on the chimney!!! I'm trying to write here geez.
