Apparently the Hair & Nails fashion hub posted a couple of days ago by kimberlyslyrics has been flagged and taken down.  She's obviously freaking out over it.mad  She's tried to remove anything that would be moderately offensive..twice.  It's still under review.

If any of you saw it you'll agree, it didn't contain any images that could be deemed offensive.  No more than her previous hub about Hats,or many other hub images we've all come across.  I think someone is flagging the hub just to be spiteful.  Come on..let's be adults here, huh?

We need to raise an objection to the Hubpages staff.  Especially for Kimberly's sake, a talented writer and humorist who has a lot to offer the hubpages community.  It's not as though she's a newcomer.

Come on..spread a little (or a lot) of hublove for Kim.  Thanks all.

It would be helpful if Hubpages was specific in their resons for un-publishing a hub. I have had the same problem with them. I don't know exactly what's wrong with my Hub "Globes" so I can't fix it. I only know it somehow doesn't meet one or more of several general and subjective critiques.

If you are not sure why your hub was flagged, you can always email us for clarification.

Public petition does nothing to sway us regarding whether or not a hub gets republished.  However, it just so happens this hub was republished about half an hour ago, before this thread was even started.

So, does the Hubpages TOS define what constitutes "uninspired" content? How about "heavily staurated topic areas"?
How does hubpages define "short"? or "purely personal"?
What is the minimum acceptable resolution for images?

It seems to me without objective and quantifible definitions for these "objections", it's simply impossible for anyone to correct them. What I get from this is that for whatever reason if Hubpages doesn't want what one has written to be on their site, they will simply unpublish it. I suppose that is your right, but it sure makes bad policy.

            Poppa Blues:

Have you ever emailed the team about this?  In the case of your "Globes" hub, to which I assume you are referring, there's a very simple answer: you need to either add content to the hub, or move it to the poetry category.  You should also remove the adult-oriented image from the beginning.  I or any other team member could easily have explained this to you, had you written us.  If you do not express to us that you do not understand, we cannot clarify.

Thanks for that. Still if a policy is quantifiable and spcifically defined and the specific reasons for rejection noted it would be easier than the back and forth. I didn't think that image to be that bad, my browser is set to strict filtering and that got through. It certainly isn't any worse than many of the photo hubs here.
