A few days ago I've published a hub about celebrity look-alikes and I had a hard time trying to reorder those photo capsules to be placed side by side.  I just think that that hub might look better if the photos can be placed beside each other.

You can't do that. You will have to combine the photos in an off site program and add one photo to the capsule with a single, split photo in it.
