Hopefully I know what I'm saying, but... try right clicking on my computer, clicking on device manager, and seeing if it shows that you have a sound card installed.   If so, click on properties for that and see if it says the device is enabled.  If that doesn't end up making sense, sorry.   It's been awhile since I've tried to offer tech support to anyone.

If you click on the little plus sign or arrow or whatever a list should come down saying...  something "display audio" or... something else audio.   Something along those lines.  No?

Restore it to a prior date?  I've tried that before and it has never worked, but it should, as long as you haven't emptied the trash can.

You might also go to the trash can and re-install the deleted files.

    Have you:

Tried going into your sound settings (little microphone bottom right.)

Tried using a different speaker or headset.

    Restarted your computer.

Using the help & troubleshooting guide for your computer's OS?

it may be hidden. did you click on the white arrow to open up the rest of them. it's a little gray open mic, or more like a speaker.

yeah i did. does it mean i deleted it or that my speakers don't work?

                you don't see one?

go to Control Panel and click on sounds, speech and audio devices.

then click on the sounds icon. click hardware to see what it says about device status.

you can try that and see what it says.
                you think you deleted it?

but I still can't hear, my speakers may have died,
but i unplugged them, and the computer speaker doesn't work
                  ?

hmm, it sounds like your volume is down. when you went to the sounds icon in the control panel, did you notice the volume setting?  you may have to reset it.

otherwise, I suggest going into your help section and entering 'no sound.' hope you figure it out.
