I am, in several ways...
But my own personal ghost is the number 13... I just hate it! i always try to avoid it, because bad luck always follows me when that number is concerned...
When I reach 13th hubs I'll probably lauch 2 at a time so I stay the least amount of time with the numer 13 associated to me...
Hmm, just noticed I wrote a lot of times ThAt number... 1, 5, 7, 8, 9 ... maybe this balances it
Not only that, but you wrote 13 three times.
This is extremely bad juju.
I wrote this hub based on this thread/post here (instead of writing a winded reply

Notice by your own language you called these superstitions (13, etc..) a "Ghost" *smiles*
I don't see myself as very superstitious, but then again, I believe in good luck, so maybe I am. I have a horseshoe hanging above my front door. I guess it's the superstitious Irish in me fighting with my sensible, skeptical nature.
Hopefully your horse shoe is facing up Anna Marie! You do not want all the good luck to flow out...
Of course!!! It has to point up, to catch all the good luck!!!
Or it is a capacitor for the universes good luck and pointing down allows it to pour out the good luck stored in it.. (to saturate the room with positive energy like a scented candle) maybe pointing up is wasting a good faucet of luck? Goes to show its not what's there that counts, its how you think about it, what you believe...
Using your term "catch all the good luck" realize in Japan your horseshoe is pointing down(the universe is omnipresent, direction is based on gravity, the universal energy is not inflcited by such a thing , up is relative and the universe being omnipresent doesn't charge good luck charms based on direction or gravity, it does so by virtue of it's "presence" I could go on for days on this topic...

I love 13! (I was born on the 13th) I've never been to superstitious, Although I prefer not to walk under ladders (although now I've grown up a bit it maybe that I don't want anything falling on me!)
I broke a mirror once, people kept saying I'd have 7 years bad luck and the next day I found out I was going to be a dad, so no bad luck for me!

I have a very bad luck in my life.... I do believe in the existence of luck but not in my life ....Unfortunately, I hope I'm the only one because I don't want others to experience the same things that I have been/am experiencing.

What superstition do you follow?Even although it's silly, are there any superstitions that you follow - just in case something happens? I have to say I still get a bit nervy when it's 'Black Friday', (Friday 13th) - even although nothing has ever happened on this day and I've even celebrated my...
