The Social Network Movie

Mark Zuckerberg started computer programming at middle school, he made a computer programme for his Dad's employees to communicate better, and then went on to design his own version of the game Risk, and he built a music player named the Synapse music player which used artificial intelligence to learn the users listening habits which was sent of to slashdot, and received a rating of 3 out of 5 from PC magazine. Both Microsoft and AOL tried to purchase the Synapsee and recruit Mark Zuckerberg but instead he decided to attend Harvard College.

On February 4th 2004, Mark Zuckerberg launched facebook from his Harvard Dormitory room, the idea for Facebook came from when Mark studied at Phillips Exeter Academy and they used to release a annual student directory with head shots of the students and teachers, which was called Facebook, Mark's Facebook started of as a Harvard thing until other schools started hearing about it and so he spread it to other school's who had social contact withHarvard, Mark along with some of his friends moved to California and leased a office so they could expand Facebook further, and in 2010 he announced on his Facebook Blog that his company had reached the 500 million user mark.

On the 1st October 2010 the film, The Social Network was released, the movie is based on the book Accidental Millionaire about Mark Zuckerberg and the founding years of Facebook, Jesse Eisenberg plays Mark Zuckerberg, The Synopsis reads......... On a fall night in 2003, Harvard undergrad and computer programming genius Mark Zuckerberg sits down at his computer and heatedly begins working on a new idea. In a fury of blogging and programming, what begins in his dorm room soon becomes a global social network and a revolution in communication. A mere six years and 500 million friends later, Mark Zuckerbergis the youngest billionaire in history... but for this entrepreneur, success leads to both personal and legal complications.

Facebook had quite a few lawsuits against them including the owner of a wood pellet fuel company who claimed he owned 84 percent of facebook, apparently he and Mark Zuckerberg had signed a contract in April 2003 for $1,000 which entitled him to 50 percent revenue from the websites revenue, but Mark Zuckerberg who was working on lots of programmes at the time, did not even register facebooks domain name until January 1st 2004 and so the Judge threw the case out.

The Movie 'The Social Network' doe's not portray Mark Zuckerberg in a positive light as he hoped, but the screenwriter Aaron Sorkin told one magazine that he did not want the film to be based entirely on truth, he wanted it to be a bit story telling, Sorkin's script shows Mark Zuckerberg creating Facebook because he didn't get in to any of the Elite final clubs at Harvard when in fact Mark was never interested in these clubs. The Movie has already been quoted as Movie of the year, and topped the box office charts at the weekend, the movie also stars British actor Andrew Garfield as Marks one time best friend and business partner Eduardo Savarin, and Justin Timberlake plays Napster creator Sean Parker.

This is sure to be a big hit as everyone seems to be Facebook mad these days, and i am sure all the entrepreneurs out their will be watching the movie in the hope of some tips to help them follow in Mark Zuckerberg's footsteps, after all how many 26 year old billionaires do you know?
