   Yes. Not only will it likely provide you with some motivation to keep writhing and exercising - you'll be able to go back and look at how far you've come! Trust me, do it

   I run across many women that do it and they are pretty successful.
   
   If you want to start a site about your weight loss as a man, I bet it would be even more successful.  Not many men talk about personal failure/triumph.
   
   Be honest, open and detailed.  And never put anyone down, well, at least try to encourage.
   
   And if your single, I bet you'll get some dates, lol.

   Why not! I have thought about it, and have started it, on blogger.com but I ended up stopping. I got discouraged. I love reading about people's success when it comes to weight loss because it motivates me and helps me in my own journey.

   For sure! It will inspire others and keep you motivated. Especially if you stick to a schedule of e.g. weekly updates, then you know you've got readers to answer to :-)
