I'd like to thank Nspeel for asking this question which I was enthusiastic to contemplate and write an answer for in this hub. I have just begun writing again after a bit of a hiatus and I was wondering what my newest hub should be about. I received... read more
it's a mixture of what our parent's teach us at a young age and the ability to deal with stimuli in our lives. Those of us who are messed up realize only after the fact that our brain is malfunctioning on some level.
I would say it's social life, more than anything. If you have a very protective or wealthy family, you're likely to stick to them more than a poor or un-protective family. In most cases, it's the friendships you bond, and your social skills that create your "character"
It can be our genes or upbringing.
Genes are not within our control. But upbringing is within our control.
It is the surrounding environment and what our parents taught us during their lifetime. The people we mixed with and the lessons we learnt during our growing up years.
Each person has his/her own thoughts to analyze what is right and wrong. We are influenced by our hearts and as long as we are firmed in our principles, it will be the right thing to do.
For those who decided to take the wrong path or shortcut, it is their decisions in lives and nobody can do anything about it.
What we turn out to be will be our determination and character that we have molded during our childhood days.
most times it's the kind of people and society you grow up around you.,,,,parents, school, friends,,,,,sometimes the gene too plays a role....if someone turns bad....look at his history and you might tell why....if good...the same thing
I think it's a combination of your family, your friends, social influences and where you were raised and finally the people you end up living with.
I think it's in the way we think, it all starts in our mind,
because what we think becomes our actions and our actions becomes our habits and our habits becomes our character and our character defines us, what becomes of us will dictate our future, because we come to decide base on our beliefs and values. So it's very important to make sure that what we believe will stand the test of time.
