    Is it possible to get addicted again?

    Is it possible to get addicted for something again after getting rid of the same addiction many years ago? Your personal opinions & experiences count.

    Yes, if you are not careful to keep temptation and bad influences out of your life, you could fall into the same dangerous pattern again.  Fully recovered addicts usually go through several recovery periods before finally kicking their habit for good.  Even then, there's no guarantee that they will stay clean.

    I have known alcoholics that are sober for years and years and something happens, who knows what - and they hit the bottle again and their struggle begins all over again.  An addict has an addictive personality, they will have to always be conscious of this and watchful.
