While many of us would love to em eat steak daily, in times of austerity it's not always possible so what do hubbers class as excellent low cost- high protein foods and how much protein do they contain,

My staples are eggs (just over 6g per large egg) and canned tuna (about 30g per can if I remember rightly). Liver is another good cheap source of protein; just don't eat it every day.

I agree that eggs and tuna are probably the best low cost protein. I would stay away from the liver all together, it filters out poison.
