I have received the news today that our dear friend who is all of 38 years old had a heart attack and rushed to a larger city's hospital.  Treatment consisted of an angioplasty to unblock an artery that we were told had a 100% blockage.  It sure brings to light the importance of what really matters in life and what doesn't.

My dear friend has had a second attack, but is recovering and seeming to do well, being moved out of observation and into a room.  I am saying prayers for a wonderful person.

Thank you for reminding us that we all need to think about our heart health, klidstone1970. I hope your friend makes a full recovery.

It's not something someone at such a young age thinks about on the whole.  Clean living and moderate physical activity are a must at any age.  When it hits so close to home, it definitely makes you aware that certain lifestyle changes are in order.
