Each week, we read through more than 1,000 hubs to find the gems to present to you for voting. Then, one of us writes the HubNuggets hub and tends to the forum thread.
The most votes determine which hubs win and become official HubNuggets. The top 5 get their picture and hub linked to in the newsletter that Ryan sends out weekly on Wednesdays.

Not to poopoo the Hub Nugget team's eagle eyes, but when I saw "Icelandic Horses" was one of this week's nominees, I wondered how robie2's (much better IMHO) hub on the same subject from 6 months ago was considered "new". So now ya know which of this week's nuggets I'm not voting for. ;)
JamaGenee, that link says that hub does not exist (at least when I click it). But I do know the one you're speaking of. And yes it is awesome and shows up in the "Related Hubs" box on Icelandic Horses.
HOWEVER: This great hub by "the real tomato", people will find, is a bit diferent. Lots to say about Icelandic Horses, you know. More than one take and bits of info on all the subjects we hubbers write about. And more than one way to write about the subjects we chose to write about.

Hi, JamaGenee. I wasn't personally aware of the previous Icelandic Horses hub (and it isn't there now), but two things sprung to mind when I read your comment. Firstly that some hubbers have more than one profile (hence may move articles or write on similar topics) and secondly, one of the criteria for HubNuggets is that the hubbers be new. So, writers who have been on HP for some time aren't even eligible. Also (okay, 3 things), many people write on same topics, but have different info/perspectives. Kudos to you for being so well informed on topics!! I appreciate you mentioning it when you come across something you're not sure is right, never hesitate to do so. Thank-you, and thanks for voting!
