Is 6 pages two long for one scene in a screenplay?
It is a pinnacle scene, and all others are shorter. Will producers frown? I know how to cut down a scene, and in my opinion, not one line can be taken out. Every word holds tension.
Of course not, as long as it's gripping. I once sat through a six-hour play and didn't even realize the time because I was so caught up in the story. If you really think it can't be shortened, go ahead with it. I'm sure if it's interesting enough, the producers won't realize the length themselves while reading it
