Ia anyone else noticing an unusual drop in traffic for this time of year?

A little while ago I had an upward blip in traffic but now I see an ongoing drop in traffic over  the last thirty days.

The town here seems unusually quiet for the time of year so I am wondering whether there is a global slowing in everything at this time or Hub Pages as had an other big drop in membership

I've noticed the same myself. My hubs don't have a festive holiday season theme so I thought that was the reason.

Right now HP is going through two things causing the drop in traffic. They just converted all of the hubs from subdomains, which is causing some of the traffic issues for people usually unhit by normal traffic changes. Posting the link for others who may read this answer not specifically you. http://hubpages.com/community/forum/133 … subdomains
However the biggest issue is this time of the year I think. I have been on HP as long as you and every year I have seen the same posts about people having huge drops in traffic. Every Christmas people (in general) panic about the huge drop, then see that it goes back close to normal at least.
I think HP was good for doing their big change during this time of year instead of waiting for peek times to do it. Hopefully the changes will be done messing with our views by the time the holidays are over.

I asked because I do not recall a drop as big as this in previous years

But the domain changes may, as you say, be contributing
