I just finished my first chapter!  Well, the first 'rewrite' of my story/book.  lol  and the first division of my story into chapters, although I already knew where I was going to divide the chapters.  I'm excited smile  This weekend I'll see how far I get on the second chapter - I hope at least a couple pages.  smile

Yes, I've been told it can take about two years to complete a book - and I can see how!  lol it took since 3/6 or 3/7 til tonite to finish One chapter!  And, sadly, I just looked and saw I didn't exactly follow my outline, so...rewrite!  But, that's okay, I can fix it.  (I hope lol)

Eh if you don't follow your outline don't rewrite...go with it. YOu never know the cahnges might be what makes you book even better. and don't do one chatper, then go back and make changes. write out the entire story first.

Yep my writing friends told me that you never want to write one chapter then go back and make changes then move onto the second chapter...because in the end nothing flows right.

It must be why books go through many rewrites  lol
I'm enjoying the process of learning how to write a story/book, so I'll be able to write another when I finish

have fun with it! Oh and a bit of advice...while you are writing other ideas WILL pop into your head...so keep a notebook/journal and pens ready so you can write it down for later stories big_smile I have a journal plus two notebooks that I take EVERYWHERE just in case something sparks the imagination smile
