   Does vinegar make a good household cleaner?
   
   It's all my wife will use around the house. She works with a woman who's husband is a chemist and all he allows hid wife to use is vinegar. I understand it's green but does it really clean?

   If you can stand the smell, it's actually fairly good at removing things like soap scum and water stains. My wife uses it to clean the shower glass. Stinks up the joint, but everything gets clean

      Thanks for answering Jeff. Our kitchen always smells like a salad after supper! But the smell goes away

   YES YES and YES! It is by far a more effective cleaner than most products on shelves. It cleans everything from ovens, floors, counters, microwaves, tubs, showers, toilets, rims, tires, cars, outdoor furniture, and more. I like to mix mine with lemon juice to help with the odor a little. I have yet to find something it doesn't clean. Plus with all it's health benefits there is no reason not to have a gallon of all natural apple cider vinegar in your home.

   If you have male cat's and they are spraying the entire house, use it. That's one of the best things to get rid of the smell.

   Yes, vinegar works very well for cleaning and a ton of other things.  And here is a tip that is very green:
   
   Use white vinegar on your underarms instead of deodorant.  It changes the Ph and so bacteria doesn't grow and so no body odor there.  It does work but you do tend to smell like a dyed Easter egg. (actually the vinegar smell does pass)

   Is this the white vinegar you are talking about? Also you can use it to spray moss outside to kill the moss. These little fruit flies breed in moss and that is why you don't want moss directly around your house because these flies can get into the house. Yes let me know if you mean the white vinegar.
