a friend of mine once told me that it's good NOT to make your bed; otherwise bed bugs will get into your covers.  he claims that the sun and other kinds of light kill bed bugs, so it's better to not make your own bed.  therefore, i don't make mine.  sure i'll shake the sheets before dozing off, but that's it.  lol

Ha, I don't need an excuse to not make my bed. I actually like it not made because it looks inviting.

You know when you are in a living room with white carpet and a couch with 3 pillows placed in the perfect spots. And you can only sit on the corner, if you can sit at all? Screw that. I love my furniture looking a little sloppy.

My bed is only made when someone else makes it. This is because the room is too small to get a wheelchair around the king size bed. In reality it doesn't do much good to have it made anyway as there are at least three little bodies in it at some point of the day about every day. Most nights I have to pull toys out of the bed just so I don't have to sleep on them.

My living child moved on long ago. I now have another family living with me and it is their children. They have a dog and a cat but neither are allowed on "my" bed.

I don't, mainly because I never have anybody over that is "touring" our house. I'm not against it, I just don't do it. And a lot of the reason is laziness and time constraints. I wait until the last possible minute to wake up to go to school

I actually make it every day.  It is a king size bed, and just makes my room look so messy if I don't.

I was gonna make my bed once, but some smart-ar*e said "Well, if you make your own bed you will have to lay in it," so I didn't. smile
