How many hubs do you have to publish before you make money?
I would say 50-100 and up from there. Some can make money with less but I think that's a good figure.
It depends on what you consider "making money", I earned just 30 cents in a month with 10 hubs, but some of the hubs are more "money makers" than others. However if you look at the best hubs of hubpages, you would just need 10 hubs to make much more than 30 cents a day.
The advantage of having lots of hubs and related, is the connections you can make between them and have synergies.
I will take sometime before you start making money. Just keep writing quality rich content, and will see better results and earnings automatically.
Once you become serious Hubber you can start earning more, as you gain exprience in your work.
There is no minimum number of hubs required to earn money but do not expect all hubs to earn money for you. It depends on the hubs that you write and the traffic that you generate with those hubs. Some people begin earning money immediately and others take weeks, months, or longer to do so.
There is no minimum number of hubs you need to have. The quality of your content should be really good and more people should be willing to read it. Once the traffic to your hub grows, there are better chances of earning more money, even if you have 10 good articles. Having said that, don't stop writing. The more hubs you have with a wider range of flavor, the more number of people you attract and the more money you make.
Also, checkout the "stats" for your hub. That should give you a fair idea about the earning potential of your hub.
To make money from your hubs depend on the content of your hub and to a large extent it is not in the number but in the quality. If you have one quality SE optimized hub, the probability of making money is high and if you have several SEO hubs, the chances of making more money increases as well. But if there are thousands of low qulaity hubs, making a dime fro such hubs will of course be a mirage.
