How do you get a lot of pageviews? Is it something that comes as time goes?

Lets say I have 50 page views per day, is it ok to assume that a year from now I'll have 100 views per day?

    Hey David,

It is something that does come with time.  The longer your Hub is on the internet, the more views.  Be sure to use tags that relate to your article so that it can be found.

But there are ways to improve page views now.  One way would be to use social media.  When you publish a Hub, post a link to that Hub through Facebook and Twitter.  If you have a blog on another site, and if the material is similar to what you have on your blog, you may want to post a link there as well and this is a way to create back links.

Also, if you use very unique pictures that belong to you, Google + is an option as well.  For Google +, you do need to create a profile.

It helps when you gain more followers.  One way that helps with gaining followers is to Hub Hop.  Be sure to comment on other Hubbers Hubs in  a positive manner and always with respect.  People do appreciate it and you may gain followers that way.  The more followers you have, the more page views you do receive.

Another way to gain followers is to post legitimate questions to the HubPages community.

Not too long ago I published a Hub that does cover the basics of HubPages for people just starting out as well as getting started with Google Adsense.  If you are interested in reading it,

I hope this helps give you some ideas.

Not a problem...they just changed Hub Hopping to a whole different level...one way you can Hop Hubs without going through the Hub Hopper is to click on EXPLORE at the top of the page, then click HUBS, then click on the tab labeled LATEST.

Hi david. i have found that the best way to boost your page views is by taking part daily in the community here. As you post answers to questions, as you ask questions, as you comment and hubs and read forums you visibility rises because people will see your activity appear and they will be tempted to click on your profile and read your hubs. It's all about staying busy each day. Even if that is that you make a daily commitment to spend just a little time doing this each day you will see your page views rise.
Another way to boost page views is to write using the keywords formula. You will find that their is plenty of hubs offering advice on how to boost page views and earnings by focusing the words in your hubs to high value topics. Good luck. Oh and also don't forget to follow people. People whose answers and hubs you like. As you build up a larger number of follows and followings this too will contribute to higher page views. And of course don't forget to paste links to relevant social networking sites too. This will also help boost page views.
