Reading all these answers have me thinking "Why did I not complete all I had to in order to get any money from this site??? What a hoot! A penny here or there wont make a difference to my lifestyle. :-)
Wow, KCC! That's awesome! I have several around 2600+ and a few at 3500+ but top hub so far is 4000+ published in June. I find the later ones are doing better and will soon blast past it, lol - better SEO, maybe? Go figger
I'm not the one to ask how to do it. These hubs that get the most views are not best hubs for making money. You really can't confuse the two. I do have a couple of other hubs that get higher pageviews that DO make me the bulk of my money. If I knew how to duplicate them, you'd bet I'd have several hundred more just like them.
Well that's just it, Neil....I keep creating them thinking one of them will be a biggun...LOL What's the saying....throw enough crap against the wall and some of it's bound to stick? LOL I do try to research keywords, etc. But, the hubs that I utilize those "skills" on, don't do as well as the ones that I just write. Maybe that's it though. The more original it is, the better. But, I just don't see how people will find it if it's that dang original....LOL
I think Relache has answered this before in a another thread. I believe she is one of the ones that gets a really good percentage of search engine traffic. (better than most) If you look at her topics it stands to reason.
Even if all the hubbers we currently have (119,000) stopped what they're doing and go look at that one specific hub, we'd all have to do it twice to get that many views. I realize it's possible that it could have come from hubber traffic, and I'm sure she gets a lot of hubber traffic because people want to be like her, but she isn't one of HubPages' top performers from hubber traffic.
My Civil War game hub has hit 1400 total views, more than double my next best hub and 7 or 8 times better than most of my hubs. Of course it has links to one of the hardest to find patches for the game plus instructions for making it work (Windows 3.1 game playing on XP.) My backlink to the person's patch site bumped him up to #1 in the search engine lol. I don't even think he uses the site anymore.
3883, from a vintage wedding gowns hub published in May. Very unimpressive if i may say! Have a fairly new hub- about 4 weeks old giving me an average of 70 page views a day, but its a seasonal hub, not much use after christmas though.
I have two that battle for first alot on my account and appear high on Google search engine...they are at 676 and 663. Not a lot...for the months they have been around...but such is the life of "Manly" Poetry.
Thanks, I was just wondering. I might try it. I had Sooner that Later on the ropes last week. I got the entire thread against him as I painted him into being an internet child predator that enjoyed spanking young boys. I'm not sure how I came out of that one without being banned.
I've got 3 hubs that I published in August 09 that combined have received around 42,000 hits, though i do get a few dollars from them, my best paying hub has only had 2000 views. The clicks are worth a lot more! That's why I've spent the day writing some more on the same topic!
one of my trench warfare hubs has recieved 246051 total views to date it is my most popular hub by far and gets visits from many sources Hubpages views account for less than 10 percent of the views.....jimmy
This thread is four years old - wonder if it is still relevant! I thought we were not meant to discussing earnings! I never think it is a good idea to tell people which hub is the most popular - you might find people writing on the same subject.
Wow! Four years old! Don't know how I saw this this morning! I took that earnings part off. I really don't care though who writes anything about anything I write about. Everyone approaches everything from a different angle. . If any person gets their ideas across better than I can, that's great. Hubpages is something I do just because I can't get published elsewhere. I have no illusions about hubpages. I don't earn anything worthwhile here It provides for me a nice little medium to have friends and family read my stuff - that's it.
My hottest hub reached 667,265 total views today. It was published in 2010, suddenly went popular via Pinterest a year ago and has naturally acquired some helpful back links from reputable websites since. The daily views jump like a yo-yo from around 200 to sometimes 3000 per day.
I have several hubs with more than 20,000 views. It kind of surprises me because this account is, IMO, my worst account. The hubs with beautiful photos and tons of text on my other account have barely any views.
I now have 15 hubs. I am hitting 300 pageviews per day. 1 of my hubs on FIFA World Cup 2010 is contributing to 70% of the traffic. There rest of it with 13 hubs hitting 3 to 10 pageviews per day and 1 hub with 0 views most of the time. I am worry that when the World Cup is over, so will my traffic...
What's the topic of the hottest hub you have?I'm not looking for everyone to give a link to their personal hubs here. I would just like to know what topic your best hub falls under. Which one is ranked the highest, gets the most traffic, & if this matches the overall...
I have: 10 hubs 30 highly pertinent Amazon products (3 per hub on average)1300 page views427 unique visitors and many returning visitors1:18 min average page durationBUT ONLY 1 AMAZON CLICK, which I got the day I signed up!What's going on?
This is not a compliant, but I've noticed that one of my most popular hubs had a drop in page views. It went from about 184,000 views to 172,000 views. I'm just wondering how this happened and what it means.
