What part of the "Pledge of Allegiance" don't you like?
And what part do you like?
I like that it was originally written by a socialist.....so yeah, Americans, chew on that one.
I don't like that "under God" was added, because not all of our founding fathers were even believers. "With liberty and justice for all" is a joke if I ever heard one. Where's the justice for the Natives that were nearly wiped out and are still oppressed? Who has access to liberty? Those who can pay for it?
Overall, the pledge is a pretty good thing to have, because one who comes to live in this country should believe in this country. There really isn't anything I don't like about it.
The pledge dates back to 1892 but the words "under God" weren't added until 1954.
remember as a kid had a hard time speaking some words:
I led the pidgeons to the flag, And to the republic for witches' dance .... With liver tea and just us four, all.
Image is of children performing the Bellamy salute to the flag of the United States. which later one was changed to hand over heart.

"I pledge to be a servant to our president and all mankind, because together we can; together we are and together we will be the change that we seek." Wait.....WHAT!?? A servant to the president? You can find this disturbing statement at 3:55 in the celeb infused 'I Pledge' video below....

Oh yes, boys and girls, I am back, like a bad penny. I wonder what are conservative poster's positions on this topic is; are they really for freedom of religion or should children be hogtied and forced to participate in loyalty tests? I have studied with Jehovah's Witnesses and I say that their...
