A UC Bizerkely alum, I taught history at Barbers Point, Hawaii, owned and worked a winery in Escalon, California, managed a freight terminal in San Francisco,  a security company in Palm Desert, and was Telly Savalas's personal bodyguard in Rancho Mirage. I am also a proud former Marine. 

I finally have time to pursue my passions: Poetry, artifact hunting ( petroglyphs, tools, pottery, camp sites ), golf, scuba, and cooking.

I'm married to a genius . She is still active as a computer instructor at Yavapai College. She did code for IBM in the 60's and 70's, worked as a private contractor for a while, and recently went back into teaching. I'm in awe of the woman. I have no idea what she sees in me.

I have three children, all growed up and pursuing successful careers. My son is working on his PhD in Theology and has his own church in San Leandro. One daughter has a successful photography business in Livermore, and the other daughter is in the corporate ladder at Blake, Moffit, and Towne in San Francisco. I am extremely proud of them all.

I joined HubPages primarily to read and share poetry, however my interests are eclectic and you will see me commenting on many different hubs.
