Why choose alternative treatments for cancer instead of conventional ones?

Why do patients seek alternative treatments for cancer when there is a pile of research data on conventional therapies that gives a patient their odds of beating this disease?

There are those of us who have seen healing from cancer using nutrition, not chemo or radiation.  My husband sees his nutritionist for healthy foods to build up his immune system.  I wrote about it here.  You can also find the video my husband made with his nutritionist to share with you.

If you think that turning your body into a toxic waste dump is "science" then I think you need to look deeper.  Diet and positive thinking are all you need.  Western culture is based on acidic foods, which cancer-causing yeasts thrive on.  Change your pH to an alkaline pH and 1) you will not get sick, 2)  you will not get cancer, 3)  you will live longer.  Look it up!

I suggest you take a read of a non profit site called cancertutor dot com.

White coat medicine considers 'success' to be a five year life after treatment.

Chemo kills MORE people that it 'cures', chemo is after all the word for 'poison'.

Alternative therapies have an actual 'cure' rate, i.e. there is no longer ANY cancer in the body once the treatment has concluded, and the patients continue a normal life (albeit more health conscious about diet) without further cancer.

BigPharma make billions each year TREATING people, not CURING them.

I could go on, I have a hub or two about cancer treatments, this is a BIG subject, and not one to be taken lightly.

Because in my experience people with cancer want to get better not worse! Patients who seek alternative treatment are the ones who've done the research. Aguasilver seems like one who knows what he's talking about. Look up 'cancer-free' by Bill Henderson, or even buy the book. It's a scary world out there!

first of all, the chance of beating cancer has only increased by about 4% in the last 30 years. the biggest change has been the ability to detect cancer earlier. it's a scam when you hear about how much better your chances are but it brings in billions to researchers. alternative medicine is probably just as good at beating cancer and it doesn't make you as sick.

It isn't the cancer that is the most deadly, it is the fear that kills.  Humans and domestic animals are the only creatures tormented by cancer.  Wild creatures simply do not care and as such they remain immune to cancer.  Humans can remain immune to if we were allowed to evolve.  Alternative medicine comes from more optimistic practitioners and that is why "alternative" treatments ofter appear to be more effective.  Convention medicine prevents human evolution and adaptation.

I will start a hub on the topic.

I recovered from chronic malignant Melanoma(10metastised tumors) in the lymph) since three years ago. I did not take chemo(poison) nor radiation nor Interferon. I located a top HNT Holistic Nutritionist Therapist who recommended a protocol of foods and supplements--which I have taken for three years. My blood tests are now normal and my energy is back to good health. My Oncologist told me I would die in 3-6 months after the surgery(radical). He refused to discuss nutrition and bluntly admitted he knew nothing except conventional(Allopathic) solutions.
I researched causes of cancer, possible remedies, and possible cures. Then wrote a book: BEATING CANCER CAN BE FUN (Cancer strategies for first time diagnosed cancer patients). Author JOHN HALL, MFT, MA, cancer survivor.
To answer your question: The cure is rebuilding the Immune System with "energy up"
organic foods, greens, amino acid formulas, Thymic gland formulas, +++under the direction of an experienced Naturopath. And Chemo poisons kill healthy cells in an attempt to destroy cancer cells. If you put toxic chemicals in your gas tank in your car, your car will run weak, or not at all, eventually die. NCI statistics cites: For those cancer patients who had chemo or radiation, 95% will be dead by the end of the 5th year. So the odds of beating cancer by going to an Allopathic Oncologist are very poor!
They will sell the cancer patient "help pills or liquids", however at most it could prolong life a few months.
You may call me or write if you need ACCURATE INFO on how to increase chances of defeating cancers. Keeping ones body alkaline and not acidic is a clue. So what foods and drinks to avoid or take is in the book too. Also top MD researchers who studied and understand HEALTHY NUTRITION are quoted in my book.
